The cross country course is a novice course with 16 two foot six inch jumps. It follows hedge rows and woodlands through undulating countryside. The course is wide enough to follow without using the jumps.
While the farm is ideally placed for hacking-out, there are bridle paths and farm rides which allow you to exercise your horse without ever going on roads.
The first bridle path heads towards Long Green, the second towards Galleyhill Green and the third towards Epping Green. The Long Green route will take you along the right of Deer Park Woods and along or through Galley Hill Woods. Before meeting any lanes, you can connect up with the end of the Galleyhill route and so head back to the farm on a 3 or 4 mile circuit.
The Epping Green bridle path is another short ride but as you will see from the map by clicking the aerial photo on the left, there are a lot of bridle paths, deviations and alternate routes that will take you miles further with very little road work.
